Glenmorangie Quarter Century edition - distilled the year we were married. I can&#39;t give you tasting notes, as I won&#39;t be opening the bottle for a

			<description><![CDATA[ My daughter, who is a chef, lives about 180 miles from me and didn&#39;t get over the mountains for Christmas this year. She showed up at the house yesterday
and brought Christmas presents...for me it was a bottle of Laphroig Quarter Cask. I have not cracked it yet but I am a great fan of the Laphroig 15, so looking
forward to this bottle. I turn 63 on the second of February...that may be a good time to savour a wee dram. ..or two.

			<description><![CDATA[ I was strolling along the liqueur aisle in one of our Supermarkets, looking what selection on Whisky can be found. Mostly they are from bad to worse kind of
blends. Can see some single malts. But  I saw a bottle saying &quot;rare blend&quot;??!! What would that be? Assuming it&#39;s blended, with no idea what is so
rare in blending.

			<description><![CDATA[ Has anyone tried the blended whisky from Scottish Parliament? Some friends just returned from a trip home and brought back a bottle of Scottish Parliament
blended whisky from Edinburgh as a gift. They even got it signed by their local member of Parliament.

It will hold a nice location in the showcase, but I wonder how the taste is and I don&#39;t want to open it just yet. It may get cracked on Burns night, but
not before.
