In the UK: The Harpenden Highland Gathering draws nigh!

OK fellas, just ten days now to The Harpenden Highland Gathering in Hertfordshire - that's the one just to the north of London! It is being held on Sunday 13th July and is within easy reach of Greater London and, indeed, the Southern half of England.

Can't attend the "Keltish Midzomer Festival"

When we signed up the festival rules stated we have to be there Saturday morning before 10am....no problem for us.
They changed the rules and we're now expected to be there on Friday or Saturday before 7am.
Neither is an option for us, so we have to skip this one

Well, I would like to go and meet kilforum members for the first time, it would be great! This is the best date for me this summer even if I arrive late (on saturday morning) and I leave on monday.
By the way, do you know where is located Alden Bielsen? From Madrid there are direct flights to Brussels but I don`t know where this town is.

There will be the Scottish Festival in Xanten on June, the 14th and 15th. Open Bag pipe Competition, highland games, open air music and lots of fun.
Maybe we´ll meet there.

Hallo,

on may 02. to may 04. the 10. Highland Gathering in Peine (close to Hannover) takes place. It is one of the best gatherings in germany with lots of competitions (band and solo piping, Highland games, ceilid, lots of stands and a big market).
Rearly worth to visit.

A date for your diaries Guys 'n' Gals! The Harpenden Highland Gathering will be held this year on Sunday 13th July - at Harpenden in Hertfordshire (just north of London)!
