I fiddled a bit with html to make the header text look better....a larger font and centered...I also changed the font to Papyrus, but this will only show to those who have the font on their machine. Others will see a standard font.

Also nice to see what a "featured topic" (moderator and admins only) does...the featured topics will show on top of the forum main page, on top of the forum section and on the community profile. No excuse to miss a featured topic from now on

Just a quick note to "whom it might concern" regarding the entry showing for 15th May, 2008. This states that it will be the 8th Anniversary of my Unfettering. In actual fact, it will be the 9th Anniversary - in 2007 it was the 8th! I have tried to amend this but I am not permitted to do so.

I have made the entry for my 10th Anniversary in 2009 - if I am spared!!

Another poll: Should we congratulate Robin for easing us onto a new format?

Margins...

Would it be possible to reduce the left hand margin a little Robin?

It does not seem to need to be quite as wide and means that when I post pictures at the same resolution (750 pixels wide) as I use for X Marks they still appear too wide because of the over generous margin.

One of the main reasons to build the kiltforum.org website was to put us "on the map"....to make the forum easier to find for search engines and to create a nice portal for visitors. The forum must be easy to find for those who don't already know about us.

And it already payed off...we're already on the first page on Google. I also checked the web stats and we get bombarded with search engine bots and many new visitors (lurkers

When you have nice pictures for the picture gallery, handy links, nice quotes, interresting historical facts, news, events...and basicly anything nice for the website...post it on this forum.
