will be rather busy with Alex MacMoose and the rest of the SOKS group. Therefore I thought I'd take my chances at picking up my package. Inside I found the

Today I finally received my Ferguson Britt muskrat sporran. Let me say this is a thing of beauty and the descriptions do not do these justice, the workmanship
is second to none. I am very happy to own such a fine piece and I am very glad Matt put them up for sale, I will wear it to the Tartan Day pub night in Fergus,
and am sure that this one will quickly become a favourite sporran. Here are some photos I took once I got it home

Here is a picture of me wearing my new casual belt, sporran, and sporran suspenders. The belt and suspenders are from the Celtic Isle Shop and the sporran
is from Still water Kilt.
The belt is very heavy and will last for ever. The sporran is very roomy and of good quality, and the suspenders are great. For us of ample proportion they
hold the sporran correctly without bunching the apron.

In the beginning.
As I'm getting very heavily into paintball I needed in some camouflage gear. I had decided on MultiCam camo which, although not used by any armies, is
considered one of the best out there. One pays a premium on any MultiCam gear (think Isle of Skye) as it is privately owned and licensed by Crye Precision. I
ordered 8 yards of double width ripstop Cotton/Nylon from Rockywoods.com for $7.99/yd figuring I'd try my hand at making a knockabout kilt. In hindsight...

Two days ago, I finally took delivery of the TFCK kilt suit I ordered in January.
I have to admit I was keeping my fingers crossed a bit, as I'd taken the measurements myself. I needn't have worried. When I unwrapped it, my first
impression was how heavy it was. Made from black wool barathea, it had a very solid feel to it, my first TFCK kilt felt quite light in comparison. The scales
confirmed this - the kilt alone weighed 1.5 kg, or roughly 3 lbs, which is a full 0.5 kg...

arrived. I ordered it in September as Matt had some specials on and I wanted a MacDonald Kilt to honour my Uncle's side of the family.

typically $23 to $25 plus shipping bringing the average price to around $28. In my book that's a bit pricey for a T-shirt. Then I found Bob & Gloria

I was the lucky winner of the third sponsor prize draw and contacted Robert from R Kilts. The parcel was sent out on Monday and I received it on Thursday,
that's quick. It's a real nice sporran made from very subtle leather. It has a key ring to hold the keys, a money clip to hold the money and a dog ring

OK, here's review 2.

I'd been talking about getting a day jacket for a while, and my SO had blessed the venture. But most of the jackets we found in Highland outfitters were
either too 'sixteenth century' for my taste (all scalloped pockets and great gauntlet cuffs) or in colours I'm not that keen on (lovat green may be
fine on others, but I don't think it looks good on me), or simply weren't a good fit for the money.
