I can't resist to the pleasure to announce I ordered my new kilt (the 7th and the last one, I guess), to be made by Lady Chrystel . It will be delivered next july, at the Fêtes Franco-Ecossaises at Aubigny-sur-Nere. It's a MacKinnon (my clan now) and I choosed the red ancient which I prefer to the red modern, a little to complicated and to ... red in my mind. What do you think about it ?
The particularity of Lady Chrystel's kilts is that there is only one buckle visible, the left one is sewn under the front apron and the lower right one is simply suppressed, having no function at all. Lady Chrystel makes a lot of original pleats, but I choosed for a traditional knife pleated. I hope I'll shall have the pleasure to meet some of you next july, between 14th and 17th in the lovely Berry region (center France)
