G'day John (a new moderator , congrats by the way) and all , SO MANY SPORRANS...Thanks for the warning John.....I know how this can be , evidenced by my USA locomotive collection...it's a disease too........ I mainly use Utility kilts that have pockets so a sporran is not really necessary it seems....They are though with traditional kilts though of which I'm the proud owner of five now.
I recently bought a second hand  ex Caledonian Band kilt which I absolutely love...just didn't work though without a sporran and kilt pin...so on to ebay I go and find a place called Medievil Fight Club that has really affordable kilts (brand new traditional around $69 each) but a decent range of belt buckles , a few sporrans and one or two other things Scottish...I didn't buy a kilt yet because I'm still predominantly a Utility kilt wearer  but I ended up getting a brand new leather sporran with three tassles and an ex display one with minor corrosion on the rivets..for $22..and also two Claymore decorative (big)  112 mm long kilt pins....for when I use any of my trads....at some time...Internet a bit like your pics....big variety..wow... that's a subject in itself but so individual..
At the moment we have a rabbit plague so maybe I ought to start my own business...Will add some decent socks , one or two genuine belts and some flashes that can be worn to go with a cross section of kilts....just so I have something when the need arises...who knows....Thanks for the sporran pics....you take a nice pic...re several of your photo galleries....Cheers from a warm Tasmania...Rod(Tasmac)
