Hello from Tasmania |

Just found the forum....I know, bit slow...I see there are many friendly faces here. Not sure how much I'll post (I'm all forummed out) but it's
nice to see a European kilt forum.

Hello Graham...welcome!
The saltire variation is a home made blend of the Saltire flag and the European flag...only official on this forum

Hello and Welcome Graham, I'm sure you'll see lots faces from other places here! It's good to have a forum with a more european mindset as well,
looking forward to you fitting in.

A warm welcome to you Gray, from a very hot and sunny West Sussex.
For those who do not know Graham: he qualifies as European too since he was, like me, born in Portsmouth, Hampshire. By the way Gray, did you know that Pompey are in the FA Cup Final this year? They are playing Cardiff. (Heck! It sounds like I understand football - if only they knew!)
Take care,

Hell-o Graham, I knew you would show up here. Frank from Thistle and Shamrock was asking about you just the other day.

Hello Glen, I sorta found this site when I was drooling over the nice kilt pins that Robin sells, (I bought an antler pin). Tell Frank I still love the belt I
bought from his shop, it's my favourite.

Hello Hamish me' ol' cobber, ....ME European???? Is England part of Europe now? what have they done to it since I left?????? heck! (I KNEW they
shouldn't have built that tunnel)
Anyway, life here is the colonies is grand, we seem so far from recent disasters in China, America and Burma, I feel selfish that life is so peaceful and good here when so many are suffering. This is an interesting website, bit like a cross between xm and facebook, I shall have to explore it more. Hello Paul and P1M, good to see you both. Hey Ham, are you still going to The Gathering next year? we are on track for it, not bought my "passport" yet, should get onto it. I'm not real keen on the flight, flying isn't fun anymore. Sorry Ham, couldn't give two hoots for sport of any kind, but thanks for letting me know about Pompey.

Thanks, had to laugh, "tinny" sometimes relates to a can of beverage, but mostly refers here to an aluminium dinghy. The welcome is appreciated
nonetheless. Hi McClef, another familiar face

Graham, good to see you here, as you can tell some North Americans popped in when nobody was looking.

tassiecelt wrote: Hi Gray, Yes, we are officially members of the European Union, and have been for years, even if we are not geographically part of continental Europe. Oh, don't knock the tunnel - it's great! Yes again. I am very much going to 'The Gathering 2009' in Edinburgh. The Silver Passport is all reserved and paid for (they are not being sent out until May next year), and the B&B booked. As 'They' say these days: "Bring it on!" I couldn't give ONE hoot for sport either, but I thought you might care to have some local news. I was apparently one year old the last time Pompey won
the FA Cup!!!
