Newbies to the Kilt--Who find your wife is 'mentally South of the Tweed River!
I have had an Interest in kilts since (gasp) 1968; and since I have retired, I am wearing one near a full time basis. My wife, thou not opposed to the point of a pistol(!) is not a fan of the garment. She is concerned 'about the publick view, the neighbors, the grandkids &tc to the World and its wife. So for you married Newbies to the Kilt with a wife in the "English Camp"(i.e. does not like the kilt), take Heart-- with a Long Persistance, she admitted(!) she is not used to seeing me in trousers!-when I was mucking a horse stall. Next stop, a MUG -Utility type kilt for the farm(I am sewing one up now-I hope!)
So fellows, keep at it, she will come around, in most cases, I think.
As Ever- A happy-
